What would it be like to live without Anxiety, Fear, or Phobias?

Most anxieties are learnt and arise in response to a perceived threat. Fear can have an impact on both your physical and mental health. Hypnotherapy is effective for dealing with phobias such as flying travel, dental work, test taking, and heights.

Anxiety may turn an otherwise average day into a stressful one. This may limit your successes and activities. Hypnotherapy can help you learn to calm yourself down with positive self-talk and gain greater control over your life.

What are Phobias?

Many people experience irrational Anxieties or Phobias. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, the number of persons suffering from anxiety disorders has increased in recent years and is expected to continue.
Phobias are fears in which a person experiences illogical panic over something that provides little or no threat. These emotions are commonly referred to as fears, phobias, and anxiety, but I frequently use the term phobia with my clients to facilitate understanding.

Phobias typically emerge from childhood and worsen into age. People typically struggle with phobias for decades, unaware that hypnosis may readily alleviate them. Phobias are characterised by unnecessarily heightened fear; my Clients with phobias frequently believe they have no control over their panic attacks, even when they are aware that their phobias are unreasonable.

Phobias cause hardship for victims: extreme Anxiety can limit people's activities. I frequently find that my clients build their lives around their anxieties. Phobias, if left untreated, might render the afflicted incapable of dealing with fearful situations.

Types of Phobias

We can categorise phobias into these four general categories:

1. Natural environment—fear of heights, darkness, water, storms, etc.

2. Animal—fear of snakes, dogs, frogs, bugs, etc.

3. Blood injection injury—fear of injury, blood, injections, etc.

4. Situational—fear of flying, dentists, driving, public speaking, etc.

Symptoms of Phobias

In addition to feeling intense Anxiety when exposed to a circumstance that causes dread, frequent symptoms include:

Trembling, Sweating, Nausea, Headaches, Racing heart, Blushing,

Palpitations, Difficulty speaking

Regardless of the type of Phobia, they all develop subconsciously and appear in identical ways. Phobias can be thought of as "mis-wiring" two unrelated things together, resulting in an incorrect relationship between the object and the feeling.

How Hypnotherapy relieves phobias

You're probably already aware that hypnosis occurs frequently while you're in a calm frame of mind. Hypnosis is the focused state of relaxation that you experience when watching a movie or driving for a long time. This is when you are most vulnerable to suggestion. Hypnotherapy helps you conquer fear by reprogramming your reaction to fear-inducing situations. Hypnotherapists' procedures vary from patient to patient, but they all aim to divorce the stimuli from the emotional response. Hypnotherapists will also teach their Clients relaxation and visualisation skills to keep them calm and comfortable.

Stop living in fear. Hypnotherapy can help you regain control over your life.

*Because each person is unique, results may differ; some difficulties are resolved faster in some people than others.

*For your safety, work on certain issues may necessitate a consultation and referral from a competent physician or mental health expert.
